Post by: FishOn on August 13, 2012, 05:13:08 AM
If could only have found a weakfish tonight....

Fished the back side of ocean county from 11pm to 430am. Blues and micro bass but couldn't complete the trifecta. Need sleep.....

Good job Austin  t^
Ya know what they say....try, try again  ;)

MsFish....those are the best hours to be out there.  Very peaceful and quiet.  No one around...except for maybe a racoon or bum

I'm cool with either one of them. I just don't want a skunk sneaking up on me. But that bum camp freaks me out bad knowing I (and you at one point) have fished within a couple feet of a person I had no idea was there. Yes ms fish, sometimes it's nice to be alone. I can stay mobile and clear my head. Saw about a dozen shooting stars last night which is always cool.

I forgot to add it last night but there is an insane amount of bait in the back. Spearing, pnuts, and mullet were thick.

I was surprised by the schoolie bass. I know they are there but I have never fished for them in August. I was up in the northern end. Seems like most of the weakfish action is happening south of the toms river
