hit the big lake for some salmon and was not disappointed with the action only the winds.we fished in 3-6's every day but one.the action was off the wall in the mornings but slow in the evenings.the fish were in 110-150fow.the temp break was from 80-100down.we landed 50+ fish in a week.the largest was 28lbs.later in the week a large school of cohos moved in.the largest coho was 15lbs.there were fish in 80ft on monday but we could not get them to go.they were calling for heavy rains up there,so if they get it i would not be supprised if some fish enter the river.most of the better fishermen were limiting out every day.get up there now for the lake action..

Fire up the boat Rick!
Spent the weekend getting the boat and RV ready. All of the lake and river fishing gear is in the boat. Even ordered a new noodle rod and reel.
Hitch is installed on the wife's new car so she can pull the boat for me.
Can't wait to yell fish on!!!

Ended up with three cooler compartments on board just so we can stay hydrated. Figured the fish don't fit in them so might as well put something in them. pawle
You know we need to keep the big cooler for the fish.
