Can anyone tell me where the spyhouse is? I am somewhat familiar with the back bay but I have no idea where this is. Is it off the Keyport Flats? By Keansburg pier? Someone tell me some landmarks from the water please. Thanks in advance.

The Spyhouse is in Belford. Just east of Earl Naval Base. There's belford creek and then about a half mile NE (left) of belford creek there's a small fishing pier that jut's out about a 1/4 mile with an old white house there. That's the spy house. If you get to Monmouth cove inlet you've gone too far. Be careful around there at low tide it's only about three feet deep. I've seen some blues around there from time to time and I guess some fluke. Try drifting the second set out side of belford creek. It's a little secret hole of mine. Sometimes you can hit 'em nice in the right tide. Fluke that is.
