We were out there at the time. Several hundred yards east of the Cock Robin. Heard the initial call. Did not hear the lat/long #s that were broadcast. I saw the boat as it was making way to the Cock Robin, wondered if it was the boat that put out the distress call. Found out in short order that it was. Saw a guy in the pit bailing water with a bucket. Wasn't anything we could do from where we were but watch. Not a good feeling sitting watching what was happening.

Great job by the Cock Robin captain and crew and the USCG.  clp clp clp slt

She was saved. Went back to port under her own power with the CG escorting her in. The motors were almost under water at one point but stayed running. Apparently they found where the water was getting in and plugged the opening.

Always great to see people get involved and help others in need. I always feel better when I'm around other boats. Hey, you never know. Great job and hats off to the Captain, crew, and passengers aboard the Cock Robin, and the U.S. Coast Guard as well. slt
