Fished Sandy Hook on Monday ,went to the north Beach parking lot .Swung in off the road into the lot and was greeted by a buck and his girlfriend doe .Been fishing the Hook for numerous years ,first time that I can remember seeing deer there .Have seen rabbits and fox ,but never deer .Caught a small bass and a bunch of small blues .Wind was blowing hard ,but still nice weather .

Sure has been windy...hope it calms down. The cocktail blues are like in the millions!!! There are just as many of them it seems as there are the bait fish, :P Cool on the deer..I think its beautiful...mother nature and all especially over in that area. Like Bill ( OB ) has mentioned there is a lot to see and hear over there. No lil ones following behind???
