Well its 4:30 am,, and the alarm has gone off. It's supposed to be a beautiful day today, so going out of Long Branch in search of a keeper striper. Hell at this rate I'll take a blue. Update on the run today, just making sandwiches, and gathering the snacks. Wish me luck.

Went out of Sandy Hook. Got some new pontoons/outriggers made out of Fiberglass. They failed miserable. Pulled the through hull fitting out of the outrigger, and nearly swamped me. Filled up with water in like 2 mins, and had a really bad list. Wasnt even that bad wind wise either. I use a sail to get around. Anyway 1 and half hours on the water, and called it a day to fix the problem, just glad it was close to shore when this happened. I had ever intention of going a few miles out too.
Just put some 5200 into the inserts, and going to do a function test sometime this week. I'll be shore fishing for a few till I get this out rigger problem solved.
Cheers mates.

It'll be a bit on the photo side till I get a new camara phone. But I'll take some. I think I got the problem sorted out though. Also going to get a friend of mine whose really good with fiberglass to put in a more permenant mount on the outrigger.
Thanks for the thoughts.
Cheers

I sail to my destinations, and also like a more stable platform for fishing. I have a Revo 11, and in rough weather just gives me more inner peace.
