Title: Raritan Bay 10/10
Post by: Fisherman120 on October 10, 2012, 06:11:24 PM
Fished at highest tide today in Raritan Bay. Only fished for about 40 minutes, caught a 22 inch Striper on a top-water plug. Peanut Bunker was out in the distance.

A guy by me was fishing too and caught at least 4 weakfish, I couldn't see what he was using but there was peanut's around. It looked to me from a far like a small ava jig but I'm not too sure. I also don't even know if weakies would go for an ava jig. Anybody know?

Nice report.

Perhaps it was a Finesse or other rubber bait?
