Had the chance to get out with 2 great friends for some late night fishing.....We started off with a couple hot spots we had caught fish in last week on live shad.
We fished for almost 4 hours and not a single hit on anything we used.....We could not even find the shad to dart for live bait.
We fished large rubber shad, small shad and every plug we had with us...... The tide was to change at like midnight and hours after was still rushing in....The water was much more dirty then the week before which all may have been part of the problem with hook ups.
Will be back out again this week......The weather is going to be warm and we need some colder nights to get things moving......The bay is still in the upper 60's and I think the bait fish are starting to get confused as to which way to swim.......All the back bay cuts are loaded up again with bait......Last week they started to push out with the cold nights......This week they all came back into the shallows.
Have a great week

Good try Dave.
We were out that night as well in a spot that has been holding fish. Didn't see or hear any signs of life in two hours. Not a tap, not a single slurp on the surface. ::)
