bet that didn't seem like a good alternative at that point. What time was that at?
-
WTF..
-
Why would you do that........Would love to have had the chance to ask that guy :headscra:
-
What in the world for!?!? What are they intended to do out there?
-
Was he coming or going? :headscra:
-
He was going. I was on the Rt 35 bridge going from my boat to my mobile home in Neptune City and saw the boat heading toward the Ocean Ave bridge. I figured he just wanted to see what the inlet looked like from the boat before he pulled the boat at a local marina. WRONG!!!
He went out the inlet and hooked a right. That pic is from the south side of the inlet. Lots of shoaling going on at the south side, that's why there's always a lot of white water there.
Foolish move, at best. nosmly

Either an insurance job attempt or well hydrated.
-
Hard to tell but i think the name is net gains??
-
Was possibly taking it to a marina in another inlet to get it pulled or taking it to the back of Barnegat Bay. 5hrug Either way, too much danger to put yourself and crew in. nts Just leave it where it is and hope for the best.

Hey Rod - My brother and I shot that video this afternoon around 4:15pm. Couldn't believe it when I heard the bells for Ocean Aven and the gates come down. Got out of the car and had to shoot the video. Boat nearly capsized after turning south. No one on board had a life jacket on. Absolutely stupid and a shame that they would be so selfish to put the lives of coast guard members or other first responders at risk all to move a boat. It was like a 30' or 33' Grady called "Net Gains". The Net losses would have been 2 or 3 people and a nice boat. Hope they made it to where ever they were going alive.

some people just dont have any brains at all. wish they could get a fine from the cosst gaurd for being stupied, smk rgmn

Cool Video Matt t^
Nice to hear from yu t^

It is a 33ft Grady he docks at Belmar Marina. Not the brightest move and the coast guard and fireman should leave these idiots to drown when something goes wrong. Especially the surfers

Hard to believe it did not roll completely, or did it? But hey, its a Grady.
As is said in the boating industry, you don't need brains to buy a boat, just money. nts nts nts
If its the same boat, I was working at Hobby Lobby when it was sold. Only so many 33's on the water. I remember the name.

I read that the marina captians did make it ti Manasquan Inlet safely.
