Also I thought The national Weather Service did not designate the storm as a hurricane. As it hit New Jersey but a grade lower, That changed the Deductible. And the Insurance Company's Know This. NJ news On your side did a PC on this issue proving that point.

Different policys state different things...In NY it can still be a named hurricane...but to take the Hurricane deductible it has to be a Cat 2 storm. Little ins and outs in policys
