Not surprised at all. Abuse like that is is commonplace here in NJ, he just happened to get caught.

Is this an issue because of who these people are?

I would think that most everyone borrowed something from work at some time or another. Ever have the need for a tool/piece of equipment that cost several hundred dollars and you didn't want to pay the price for it just to use it once? Now, if you didn't return that item... fngr

not the same as borrowing a tool.people all around had no power did they try a help a neighbor with power, they were looking out for themselves plain an simple.it's a abuse of position
