Thats got to be tough keeping the helicoptor at that same altitude as the 20+ foot waves come rolling by.  Great job Coast Guard. chrz

Hovering a ship is hard as hell. Thankfully those ships have an auto hover mode if I recall correctly. Although, it takes a lot of other mannipulation in those conditions.

The USCG probably has the BEST helicopters pilots anywhere. They are the only service that consistently flies their ships in the crap.
