More of a "pass on the info post" to you guys. Was in Keyport to help a budddy figure out an overheating issue tonight. Got everything squared away pretty quick and took the boat for a ride.
Sailboat moorings LOADED with nutz. You could walk on em. Blues crashing bait all over just past the sailboats. Tossed a 4" green/silver fin-s that landed 4 blues before it was totally chewed up. Nicer fish in the 3-4 lb class rather than the 1-2 lb cocktails that have been around lately. Best part, landed one 18" striper beneath the blues. Once the sun ducked below the horizon it was over.
Nice seeing the rat, just waiting for that water temp to dip into the 60's. Bassin cant come soon enough!!!

Glad you found them because it was dead when I was out yesterday (except for the peanuts).

Yo Mike, everything was late. Messed with the boat starting at 5 and nothing was going on. By 5:30 blues were crashing everywhere. Lasted an hour and a half until the sun went down. Flats just past the blowboats (watertower).
