With the new year quickly coming upon us, don't forget to renew your saltwater fishing registration for 2013.

I cant says mine dont expire un till 12/31 guess i did it on NYE last year  5hrug

Al, they all expire 12/31/12. Make sure you are doing the renewal and not trying to do an first time registration.

Don't forget about your HMS permit if you fish tuna or shark. I believe just the vessel needs the $20 permit.

Correct, the permit is for the vessel, no individual permit.

Yup...gonna fill out the reg form now..its the least I can do to avoid a $25 fine if I dont fill out an online only permit thats gonna reduce my bag and size limits due to flawed science.....its the least I can do to help out.

If you want to catch crabs commercially you will need to apply to the state.  If you want a recreational crab pot license click here (http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/als/websalesintro.htm) and then click the "Start Here" button at the bottom, middle of the page.

Thanks! Was nice of you and now its all done! I'll re-register Mom when I can figure out the year she was born... fcp lol Now, I gotta do NY too.  t^  

So how bout my date runs from 01/13 - 12/13...but when I did Mom's, her's went into effect as of today 12/30... weird huh??
