Spray and coat your Snow Blower inside housing with it. To prevent snow from building up. Silicone works to but not the green thing to do.

WD40, spray the whole damn thing with it, plastic, metal, it don't matter. and yes spraying your chute will help with sticking if it does.  just don't do it right before storm, than it will be prohibitive.
