Been hitting some backwaters the past two weeks mostly late at night.
There's a lot of bunker moving through the inlet and canal. We've had several blues in the 3-7lb range. And lost a lot of shad bodies to short strikes from blues. I've dropped 2 bass while trying to land them from tough spots in the past week. One was in the 15+20lb range. Real heartbreaker, but at least I got a good look at her.

Nice report Chris. At least you're getting out there and getting your string stretched. t^

That's sounds like a kuma sutra move....the string stretcher
Nice going chris, you have to let me know when you headed up that way. Things are getting interesting around here

Out again tonight at the inlet and another backwater spot. Good bluefish action on swimmers. Bunker is thick n the back. Birds were working hard in the inlet.
Austin - I'll be out several nights next week. We'll have to meet up.
