Title: Jersey Nutz – Saturday Shahhking
Post by: Capt. RJ on June 17, 2013, 10:44:34 AM
We headed out with the crew on Saturday morning in search of a nice Mako. We decided to fish the inshore waters after seeing some nice bait and life only about 20 miles from the inlet. We got the chum slick going heavy and about an hour into the drift, the long line started going off, after about a 10 min fight we got a look at her and she ended up being a blue shark. This was pretty much the story of the day, making quite a few moves and only finding more Blue dogs, except for a couple real nice bluefish we got later in the day.

Just a heads up that some of our better dates are getting picked at for our offshore trips in July and August. We are booked to fish a number of tournaments this season as well, so are dates are becoming somewhat limited. Please Call (609) 351-5690 or email captrobert@jerseynutzsportfishing.com, to book your trip.

Thanks Guys, it definently would have been better if we had some Mako's, but that is how it goes.
