Title: Suspected mine is detonated off Bay Head beach

This falls under the "Be very careful fishing category."  WOW The APP article says it was found 20 yards off the beach on Tuesday.  cfzd

Can you imagine some surf rat fishing and the sinker happened to hit the detonator...   thud
