Title: 9/29 pm report Weakfish

Fished BL area looking for some Weakfish. Well, I found them or did they find me? caught 18 between 18"-25". Been trying all summer for them, just couldnt get through all the blues >:D. Fin-ness in Rainbow Trout was the go to color. Kept 4 for the table t^ fished from 7:30pm until 3am.

t^ t^ Thankyou for the welcome guys.... I've been trying to catch Weakfish all summer long, but couldnt get through all of the bluefish >:D. I hope the Weakfishing will continue to get better this fall and continue into next spring and beyond.I love to fish for  Stripers,Fluke, Weakfish. Tight Lines and Bent Rods to all.

Welcome Aboard Beach Pounder,

Good report, I hope anything is running.  Lately it has been pretty dismal off the beach.  I am looking forward to a good fall lets keep our fingers crossed and maybe something will break soon.  I am tired of robins and dogfish already.

I am switching to large poppers to see what happens.

Paul, I've given up on the beach for about a week or so. Been having better luck fishing BL inlet for weakfish and Bass. Been hopping jetties quite a bit. :P. othewise when the Bass start moving down the beach i'll be out there. Last week I had a Bass swipe at a pencil popper I was using, but he wouldnt commit :'(.

Tight lines, bent rods & screaming drags to all...

I bet your heart started pounding after that. 

I am hoping to get out on Friday morning for a few hours we'll see.

This weekend is super busy. Competition on Sat. and the tournament on Sunday.  Maybe go up to Edison on Friday to the boat show (thats a big iffy).
