Title: Birthday fishing with mom

This past Friday I turned 24 and I took my mom out carping with me. Right after I got my lines wet my one rod got hooked. I past it to my mom and while trying to explain how to fight the fish while making it first run I didn't realize how much line it took out so that pole got spooled lol. So we were down to one rod we hooked up two more times lost both fish popped the hook the second time and broke the leader the third time. It was still fun taking mom out but don't tell her but I think she is bad luck hahaha
