Ran out to the AP hoping to see what we left on Saturday (lots of life and lots of BFT) - but that wasn't the case this time.  Started trolling at 07:00 and had two hits and lost both fish.....not off to a good start!  Trolled for 5 more hours and cover all of the grounds around the AP without a single knockdown....walked downstairs on my express and started punching in the numbers for the pots around the Glory Hole and try for ma hi.....my little guy was bummed with no BFT.....i happened to see some dolphin about a half mile away feeding on top and headed towards them and as soon as we approached the way back went screaming landed a smaller fish 33".....but the little guy was pumped.  up on the troll again following the porpoise and bang had another bigger fish on which was landed and was  just under 40"....3 minutes later we had the big one hit and landed a healthy 48" fish  which was dropped on ice and the day was done with one proud 10 yr old who was beaming from ear to ear.  Called other boats over to enjoy the action since it was a long tough day and others were not catching....by the time  we were done cleaning the deck there must have been 20 other boats with some hooking up but not all.  All in all a great day on the water fishing could have been better but we had a great final 30 minutes and happy to know we put others on the fish.

That was awesome of you! I gave you a thanks on the radio. As you know it was a tough day and people really appreciated it. I think we got to the feeding a little late, about the time that Grady pulled in a nice fish. I think the wake of the 20 boats doing donuts in the area drove the fish down.

Job well done! You certainly have my respect. Welcome to the boards. I hope to see you out there.
