Had Capt Mike and Bob(hareball) aboard this evening for a quick weekie run at the sod banks..
Hit the banks a little North of the Rutgers station around 5:45 PM.
Bob pulled up a nice 16" Weekie on his first drop, on a white bucktail laced with a clam strip.
Nothing much after that in the hour we fished/ couple sea bass and small dogs.. Sun set under a think fog and we blew back to the dock before it got to dark..
couple hours a fun. just nice getting out.

sounds like a nice quick night out... By the way, how are the crabs down there this time of year. Did they come in strong before there hibernation.

IDK Nick.. But from some Capt Mikes reports it look like it picked up.. but nothing to call home about.
