From The AP:
Two men were pulled from the ocean water after their 31-foot Fountain powerboat capsized on rough seas this morning, Coast Guard officials said. The Jamaica II, a Brielle-based party fishing boat, rescued one man while a Coast Guard vessel pulled the second on board.
The boaters sent out a “mayday” call at 8 a.m. that they were capsizing from the rough seas.
The U.S. Coast Guard ran into its own troubles when one of the two 47-foot boats sent to help had a fire on board, officials said.
Petty Officer Cindy Oldham said that the staff of the Jamaica II helped rescue one of the victims. The first Coast Guard boat transferred the rescued man from Jamaica II and both victims were brought to the Barnegat Light Coast Guard station, Oldham said. The disabled Coast Guard vessel was later towed in, Oldham said.
“Both men were cold, wet and tired, but they were fine,” Oldham said. An emergency medical team assessed the men when they arrive on shore, she said. The men were not identified.

I don't remember it being that bad out to capsize a 31' boat.

Great job, Captain and Crew!! slt
Nick: The news said they took several waves back to back... Speed invloved???
-
Speed had to be involved. Self inflicting. Those boats at that size do not capsize that easy unless it was self doing or hurricane conditions.
