Does any one know how many miles it is approximately from shark river inlet to jones inlet?

It's about 35 miles.

 Thx Joe. My cousin has a house on the water and was thinking of going out there by boat next spring

It sounds like a very doable ride. Just watch for the big boys as you will be right in the Ambrose shipping lane as you go across.  t^
