I am looking to replace some old gear. What's your favorite foul weather gear?

Looking for suggestions.

Check out the website anglerscenter.com, Grundens Jackets w/ elastic wrist cuff inside of sleeves, lined. Has the flap to cover snaps to lock air out in the front.Pricing will depend on your size, but good prices. Wore it yesterday in the cold air/wind and I was very comfortable

The prices were great! I got myself the Grundens Burning Daylight series jacket and bibs. They were 25% off, qualified for free shipping, and came with a promo Grundens neck gaitor and a Costa coffee tumbler.

Thanks for the info!

I have the Aquaskinz bibs and like the front zipper way better than the Grundens.  Big pockets, generous cut (ahem) and has held up well so far.

I need to get the Jacket; for now my Dick's F&S fits the bill on all but the wettest days.

Edit: here's the clicky:

The set that I bought aren't the PVC shells.... They are more breathable I suppose.

I bought the Grundens Brigg 44 Parka, plenty of room, bought the 3X just in case for the extra room with layers but cut would have been more than sufficient at 2X. In the wind and spray yesterday and I was warm and comfortable...These are the PVC coated material but designed for flexibility in colder weather. Also have the neoprene cuffs up inside of the jacket sleeve, keeping air out.

I like the grundens zip up jacket, the pullover is definitely warmer but I like being able to unzip the jacket for the warm sun days. They are not perfect, will get wet through the top in the rain. Overall, they are durable and have real deep pockets (I got two sizes bigger)

I wear a pair of sun/surf kayak pants, basically ski pants. They are as comfortable as they come and I have had them ten years. I don't think I ever saw anyone else wear these pants and am surprised. I had bibs but never found them to be really comfortable.

Hey Fred,

Got the Gage Burning daylight jacket and so far like it.
Sizes are cut small though.
Nice waterproof and breathable, but still need plenty of layers under to stay warm.
Good jacket for all year round.
