Title: Kayak sailing?
Post by: Nephroid on June 03, 2014, 07:55:04 PM
Greetings all!

I've been a long time reader but this is my first time posting.

I usually do my fishing out of an OK Trident 13 on the bay side of Sandy Hook.  One thing I've always struggled with are the windy days where I seem to spend more time paddling, sometimes just to hold position, when I could be fishing instead.

Was considering an upgrade to a Hobie w/ pedals until I came across some kayak sailing rigs like the Kayaksailor made by Kuvia.   Seems like a great way to get out to my fishing spot without tiring myself out and having a good deal of fun along the way.

Just curious. Does anyone have any experience with these?
