Today Scott G and his 12 year old son Brandon joined me on the Hunter 2 for a few hours of smallmouth bass fishing. Brandon does not fish much but first cast on dads old spinner set up lands him a nice sized smallmouth. Then he proceeded to out fish us with a total of 5 fish to my 3 and Scott's 2. Brandon kept saying this is so much fun I want to fish every day. The rain called it an early day. But we know we got another kid hooked on fishing t^. I think this kids ready to jump on the Hallie Loren for a canyon run. When we returned back to the resort we took a ride to the local sportsman shop for more lures and Scott bought Brandon a new rod and reel to use for the rest of the week. clp
Most fish were caught in 10 to 20' of water. And we are having a great time up here in gods country. More reports and pics to follow chrz

One more Brandon report, Eddie was working on the boat ...checking bilge pump. Brandon ask for his pole to practice casting a few times off the end of the dock the next thing we know he is yelling I got one......It was probably between 14" to 16" Largemouth Bass. This kid is on a roll. Pictures to follow having rough time with WiFi.
