Title: Blackfishing Prep-Maptech-GPS Numbers-DMS or DM.MM
Post by: rossg on October 26, 2007, 01:52:05 PM
Below is the MAPTECH free site.
You can move around and get GPS numbers for
structure you want to fish.
The only question is that the numbers are in either DMS or DM.MM
Which ones do we want for plugging into the chartplotter http://mapserver.maptech.com/homepage/index.cfm?lat=40.32814&lon=-73.9283684&scale=100000&zoom=100&type=0&height=498&width=498&icon=0&searchscope=dom&CFID=2306100&CFTOKEN=84552026&scriptfile=http://mapserver.maptech.com/homepage/index.cfm&bpid=APR0331052896%2C50%2C1%2C1&latlontype=DMS

Hi Ross,

Use DM MM this will get you the closest. More #,s after the decimal more precise. A lot of the wreck on the charts are usually listed this way.
