Was going to just go for a walk but figured I'd might as well bring my small rod with me too. Fished a 1/8oz gold kastmaster for 45 minutes. Wasn't planning on catching anything since I usually don't see snappers here until around the last week of August or so, but gave it a shot anyway. Ended up catching two very small snappers in that time.

Tried fishing for some larger bluefish today, but it didn't work. Water for some reason was very dirty and lost of garbage and seaweed. Didn't do anything but feed the crabs today.

As some of you know I graduated from Kean University two months ago. I didn't want to go into the real world yet and get a full time job. So I will be going for my masters at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. I'm moving in a few weeks and am trying to get as much Jersey fishing in as I can. I'm a little upset that I'll be missing my favorite time of the year to fish here in New Jersey. September and October have always been my absolute favorite months to wet a line around here. While in New Hampshire I hope to fish as much as I can but it'll definitely be less than now. I'll probably end up getting back into freshwater fishing since there are a ton of lakes around where I'll be living. Well that's it for now.

Your education is the most important thing at this point. You have a lot of fishing to look forward to and with a proper education you will be able to put yourself into a position that will allow you to enjoy life to it's fullest, which will include many days of fishing. Best of luck to you. chrz
