Title: Roosters Flukin 9-18-14
Post by: Peterooster on September 18, 2014, 06:50:46 PM
Big rollers kept us and the rest of the fleet inside the Hook. From Sandy Hook we could see breakers along side of the Ambrose Channel. There were many short Fluke today but not as many as past weeks. Tom and I drifted the Sandy Hook Channel using only two ounces of weight, as we approached #13 I picked up a 19” Fluke, Tom a 24” as the tide started to turn. No Killies today, Gulp and Sea Robin strips did the trick. Left them biting as we headed back in at noon.  Pete
