I used to go till it turned into more of a hunting guide service show a few years ago. :P
-
Doubt I'll make it, but they've got a few BASS pros doing seminars I would like to see.

It was ok years ago. Like Joe said too much hunting.
Haven't gone in years.

Although I agree it has too much hunting I wanted to go this year... Unfortunately I am super busy these next few days, work fri/sat, got my aunts wake sat night, and a wedding sunday.... If you go let us know how it is compared to former years please. Hopefully a change anywhere for the better

t^ .. I went yesterday, Yes there is a lot for hunting but also beginning to pick up on the fishing side. Canyon reels had a booth along with approximately 10 other fishing gear booths. This is definitely not the Somerset show but something to look at on a cold January day. There were freshwater bass boats along with RV trailers some wild animals, bass tank, flyfishing casting pond,a display of stuffed animals from around the state. A few food and hot sauce vendors and yes " Pickles". I purchased tickets on line which got me a year subscription to Outdoors magazine so I feel the entry fee was a wash. Anyway Harold's restaurant is on the way out, how can you lose.... enjoy... chrz
