Left the inlet at 1030 this morning. Went north on the troll. Trolled from Asbury Park, made several runs around the Red Church area rock piles to the Shrewsbury Rocks. Trolled the rocks both deep and shallow. Nothing.
Headed back south. Trolled all the way to Shark River inlet and a little south, still not a thing.
Didn't hear anyone catching except for a guy asking for striper regs as he claimed to have a 25 incher on green crab while tog fishing off of Long Branch. If you were to ask me, he probably did catch one and knew the regs, he just wanted to put it out there that he caught a striper. 5hrug
