Overall, not a bad weekend, however cooler and overall good water conditions. Saturday will be dry with some increasing clouds and rain chances on Saturday Night into early Sunday. The greatest chances are across southern portions of the state and showers look to be scattered. Sunday is dry again with a mix of sun and clouds. It will be a cooler weekend with low 60’s inland and mid 50’s or lower along the coast and on the water. Cold water in the oceans is still influencing temperatures by a few degrees. Overnight lows will be in the upper 30’s to 40’s, as frost is possible across northern areas. This should be a little warmer than the last couple of nights hovering at or below freezing. Water conditions, overall will be good. Conditions will start off on Saturday borderline to cautious, improving to good through Sunday Night before approaching the borderline to cautious zone later on Sunday. Offshore waters will be cautious all day on Saturday, however, improving as the day goes by. Surf conditions will be good, barring some gustier winds approaching 20 knots early on Saturday and late on Sunday. Surf heights look to stay around 1-3 feet. Water temperatures are cooler on the oceans, but warmer in the bays and rivers for the time being. By Saturday, rivers and bays could drop some with cold overnight temperatures. UV Index will be Low to High. High on Saturday at 7/15 and 1-5/15 on Sunday with the greatest cloud cover to the south and decreasing to the north.
High pressure will build over the area on Thursday Night and continue through Saturday. Low pressure over the Southeast on Saturday will move east and bring a threat of rain across the area late Saturday into early Sunday. High pressure will build in late Sunday and Sunday Night.
The upcoming week will have rain chances on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Highs will be a little cooler in the 50’s and 60’s with overnight lows in the 30’s and 40’s. Water, surf and beach conditions look borderline on Monday, then cautious on Tuesday and Wednesday, right now.
Have a great Weekend and thanks for reading!
