Looks like the new striper regs are now in effect.
NJF&W noted that the regulation posted are current as of the posting date (May 1, 2015).

If anyone knows how to post a PDF (for the regs summary sheet)please do so.

Strange, the digest was up when I posted this. That is where I got the PDF for the summary sheet. Click on it now and it does say that it will be up on the 4th. Perhaps they had to change something in it. 5hrug

Here is the original marine digest that was published and taken down. Note that the bonus bass does not go into effect until September.

Maybe this article explains why the links were pulled from the F&W site

That's exactly what I was thinking. Leave it to the regulators to cause mass confusion among the people. Another indicator of the blind leading the blind. nosmly

REGULATIONS/CHANGES TO PROGRAM
Note: All Striped Bass regulations are expected to change the week of May 4. Permits are not available at this time.
Under current striped bass recreational size limits set by the New Jersey Legislature, anglers can harvest two fish at 28 inches or greater per day. With a bonus permit, anglers can keep a third striper at 28 inches or greater. Visit the Marine section of the Regulations page to check current Federal and State possession and season regulations for striped bass fishing in your area.
Participants in the Bonus Program can receive immediate notification of regulation updates, emergency closures, special notices, etc., by subscribing to the free NJ Marine Fishing E-mail List. For details, visit the E-mail List Subscription page.

based on this, if you have the bonus tag, you can keep 2 @ 28" and above, and 1 at 42".
My question is, do you have to have that 2nd fish at 42"+ to be able to use the bonus tag?
-
the bonus tag is to harvest a 24"-28"......so do I even need the first 28"+ fish to use it...............They got 4 months to figure that SH&# out. lol

The Bonus Tag fish does not need to be your third fish. I t can be your first, or even only, fish of the day. But it must be within the size limits for the bonus program.

And you must, immediately after catching, fill out the paperwork for the bonus program. Failure to do so will result in a fine. I don't know what the fine is but...
