Title: Stolen Propellor
Post by: sealife on November 09, 2007, 06:43:01 PM
Went down to fish yesterday, got to the marina yard and hooked up the trailer.  I then walked around the back of the boat to put the motor up and load the fishing rods and electronics only to find my 5 month old stainless prop missing.  So instead of fishing I spent the morning dealing with police reports and the insurance compnay. All other boats in the yard looked fine, I guess no one needed a Merc or Yamaha prop just my Evinude.

Sorry to hear the bad news Dave.
Last week they had a theft at the Shark River Hills Marina.  Maybe check with the PD from that jurisdiction to see if there is a connection with your theft.  Don't know if it's the same PD or not.

Let the karma get him.

That really stinks Sealife!  I know how you feel though.  Once I showed up to my boat and both batteries were gone. >:(

Many years before that when I was working overnights, I left work at 6:00am all excited to go fishing, but when I got home someone had taken everything (boat, motor and trailer) right from the side of the house!(http://www.sportfishermen.com/board/images/smilies/addsmilies/angryfire.gif)

Never recovered any of it.  I hope your situation turns out better.
