Another mostly settled weekend with Spring-like weather and good water conditions. Both days of the weekend look dry with highs in the upper 50’s to low 60’s. Mid to upper 60’s are possible on Sunday as well above average temperatures move into the area with a lifting warm front. Some low chances of rain showers are possible very late on Sunday into Monday. Overnight lows will be in the 40’s to 50’s. Water conditions will be good for all inshore waters with the exception of late Sunday into Monday. Winds will be calm and seas average 2 feet with some 3 foot seas possible. Winds and seas will increase late Sunday Night into Monday. Midshore to offshore waters will be good to borderline with seas averaging 2-4 feet before increasing for Sunday late Night. Surf and beach conditions will be good with wave heights 1-3 feet. Water temperatures are steady in the 50’s. UV Index will be Low at 1-2/15.
High pressure remains near the Mid Atlantic Coast through Friday. Low pressure will track through the Great Lakes and up across Eastern Canada. As another low pressure system organizes in the Plains, a warm front crosses the area on Saturday. As this low strengthens, it moves across the Great Lakes on Monday and then Southern Canada through Tuesday. Its associated strong cold front will cross the area later on Monday, then another cold front will arrive later on Wednesday into Thursday.
Next week will start off with rain chances on Monday, then dry for Tuesday and Wednesday and rain chances return on Thursday and likely into Friday. Highs will be in the 40’s and 50’s with overnight lows in the 30’s and 40’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be cautious to hazardous on Monday and Tuesday as low pressure moves east-northeast, but conditions improve for Wednesday and then into the end of the week.
Have a great weekend and thanks for reading!
