On March 3, 2016, the NJ Marine Fisheries Council approved continuation of the Striped Bass Bonus Program (SBBP) for 2016 with a re-opening date of September 1.  Applications are currently not being accepted.  For more information visit the NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife website at http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/bonusbas.htm .

the only thing better than a Fall Bonus Bass is two other keepers in the box with it!

I have no qualms about freezing some SB fillets...

Perhaps this year I will score The Morone Trifecta...
