Title: Going surf fishing this weekend! Need opinions and help :)

Ok I'm going to head To I believe sandy hook for some surf fishing this weekend. Just want to catch some blues or whatever bites. Two rods thrown out with a 3 or 4 oz weight and a bunker chunk. One rod ready with a big spoon. Any beach at sandy hook? Going mid morning with my girlfriend. Any other suggestions or spots. Any strikers around? Thanks!
