Can the Light double as fluke rod?, or would another blank be better used?
The blank I use for the light is the one I build my fluke bucktailing rods on. I just built one for Hunter 2 so you can get his opinion. It's sweet spot is 5 to 6 oz bucktails. If you typical fish 8, 10 or 12 oz for tog the is not the rod. But if you want a rod for fluke, seabass and tog and are normally in the 4 ~ 6 oz range than the light would fill your needs.
