A very settled week with some Fall weather and mostly cautious water conditions. Fall weather is starting to finally makes it appearance more known this week. The week will be mainly dry with highs in the 60’s and overnight lows in the 30’s to 50’s. The beginning of the week could see lows drop into the 30’s and northern areas could see frost overnight and in the morning. The beginning of the week will be breezy as well. Water conditions will be cautious to hazardous on Monday with gusty winds and seas to 10 feet possible. Tuesday through Friday will see cautious conditions and even some hazardous conditions on Friday. Rivers and bays will have a mix of good to borderline and some cautious conditions as well. Overall, not the best week on the water some due to winds and seas with Small Craft Advisories and other days due to high seas. Surf conditions will be cautious all week. Some areas will see high surf advisories as well. Water temperatures have dropped into the 60’s. UV Index will be Low to Moderate at 1-6/15.
High pressure builds in from the north and west starting tomorrow, moves nearly overhead on Tuesday before moving offshore Wednesday. A cold front is expected to slide through the region on Thursday. High pressure returns for the end of the week and into the weekend.
The weekend looks to be dry highs in the 60’s with lows in the 50’s and 60’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be borderline to cautious for seas.
Post tropical storm Matthew has done enough damage and will head out to sea, not affecting land anymore. TS Nicole will strengthen into a hurricane and will affect Bermuda, then go out to sea.
Have a great week and thanks for reading!
