Post by: mboy on December 08, 2007, 11:06:10 PM
Didn't need all of them, but for the price, I couldn't refuse:

2 rods - Tsunami Trophy TSTBS 701M 7', line 12-30lb, lure 3/8-1/1/4 oz.;
3 rods - Tsunami Trophy TSTBC 661XH 6'6", line 30-50lb, lure 1-8 oz.;
3 rods - Tsunami Trophy TSTBC 661M 6'6", line 12-30lb, lure 1/2-3 oz.

Hardly used (can still see stickers)

$155 for the lot including rack. Not too shabby.

Wow, nice find can't beat the price.  Good luck with them.  So what does that bring you up to in youre rod count?

Yep, that price just could not resist. Rods are $70 new (each)at Cabelas.
Umm, that brings me to 33ish. Actually 35 or so, but I have a few rods in garage that never get used.

35 rods, 3 rod racks :)

Now I am done with rods for a while.

Reel time :)

Those will accumulate much more slowly now. They are MUCH more expensive proposition to me.

Nice find.  You can find some nice reels and swap the reel out with the rod you will be using for the day.

The main ingredient in a rod and reel set up is the rod, for the action that is needed to feel/fight the fish.  The reel is nothing more than something to hold the line and crank it in.
