Title: Recent Cape Cod Trip
Post by: Capt. Jerry on December 09, 2007, 07:54:57 PM
fished cape cod at stellwagon bank 2 weeks ago, went out in a gale blowing 35 with 6-8 ft. seas.  We saw the gale warning (2 red flags at the harbor-Green Harbor Marina, but the charter boat capt proceeded to the fishing grounds.   Was unfishable conditions but managed 10 keepers-pollock, cusk and haddock and a few throwbacks of cod.  Was frigid out there, on the return we had schoolie bluefins splashing the surface but it wasnt worth the effort.  Going back in the spring.  Happy & safe Holiday & new year to all.

Nice report Capt Jerry Parker.  It's amazing the weather some charters will go out in just so they don't loose the Money.   5hrug
