Tog season is in full swing and the Alberto knot "developed by Crazy Alberto Knie" is a stronger version of the Albright that I use to tie my reels braid to a mono top shot. It goes through the rods eyes pretty smooth and is very easy to tie. I like the uni to uni too but this is easier to tie with cold fingers.

Do you think it goes through the eyes better than a double uni?

I dont use that long of a top shot Fred. I tie them mono to the braid reel it up 2 inches from the top eye and cut it at the rod butt

I know the uni to uni is a bit smaller and goes through the eyes better.
It's a bit harder to tie in the cold..
