Another typical winter week with unsettled weather conditions to start and cautious water conditions all week. Monday will have snow with accumulations from 1-3 inches of accumulation with as much as 2-5 inches for southern and eastern areas mainly. Areas north and west could see no snow or accumulations up to 1-2 inches. Snow will begin during the overnight and continue through midday Monday, clearing out by the late afternoon or early evening.  Tuesday and Wednesday will see snow showers changing over to a wintry mix or even rain. Thursday and Friday will be dry. Highs will be in the 30’s and some low 40’s with lows in the teens to 30’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be cautious all week with wind 20-35 knots and seas to 6 feet. Water temperatures are steady. UV Index will be Low to Moderate at 0-3/15.

Low pressure will form to the west of the Chesapeake Bay through this evening. The low will strengthen near the northern Mid-Atlantic coast late tonight and move out to sea on Monday. Another low is expected to cross the Great Lakes region Monday night into Tuesday before passing to our north Tuesday night and offshore Wednesday. The low is forecast to pull a cold front through our region on Tuesday night. Another cold front from the northwest is expected on Thursday. High pressure builds in from the west late in the week into early next weekend. A storm system may approach the region late in the weekend.

The weekend looks to be dry with highs in the 30’s and lows in the teens and 20’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be cautious on Sunday and borderline on Sunday.

Have a great week and thanks for reading!

So, tomorrow's snow showers will bring some accumulation to northern areas. Anywhere from 1-3 inches will be possible.
