Stopped in at Betty and Nicks on my way to the park today. They gave me FREE leftover clams, then I fished IBSP 7:45-10:30 am. Caught 1 short bass my first 5 min. figured it was going to be a good day. Nope, nothing the rest of my stay there. Not on calms,herring,jigs,plugs,or shads. nosmly Got my 2008 Pass on the way out, then home to put up a new mailbox. <'((((><

Sweet, Ash and I got skunked.  We went on at A7 and fished down to A14.  Turned around and went north because I heard by a reliable source that they were getting bass off the bathing beaches. Ah nope not today... Headed up to Gillikens and nothing.  Like you we tried clams, metal, poppers everything but herring.

So don't tell me you caught the short on herring,  :P

Nope. Caught the short on a free Betty & Nicks Clam. Hole just south of the bathing beach.  5hrug <'((((><

Nice, we tried there but no one was home except the horses.   slt
