Title: 11/9 striper report Raritan bay
Post by: kpcoe on November 09, 2021, 05:54:42 PM
Buddy Joe and cousin D back out finally?.. day started out looking great with beautiful sunrise and calmish seas?..was first boat trolling in our area and was rewarded with some quick action on a few nice fish.  Was thinking it was going to be a great day of catching.  We?ll soon the mob arrived and shut us down pretty quickly.  We had a quiet 1.5 hour dry spell as we tried to find some breathing room and some lonely fish?.. could see fleet was also confused as boats started going every which way.  Landed some really nice fish up to 38 inches.  Did lose couple big fish on poor netsmanship( u actually need to use it ).  Mojos definitely taking the bigger fish.  Not lights out fishing but overall a good day with about 15 fish boated and couple losses. Caught a nice double header with one fish at 28? with a tag(photo below) along with a 37? on umbrella.  Down Deep tagged also. 🍺good luck
