We pushed through a stiff west wind today, and though the ride was sporty, the crew was rewarded with hands-down the best casting bite we've seen all season.
The water was alive! Acres of flocking birds led us directly to the feed, and when we got there, it was nonstop action. Our lines were getting absolutely slammed by hungry Striped Bass. We battled countless oversized giants and quickly put limits of keepers in the box. Later, we hit a local spot that produced quality bonus tag fish?a perfect way to fill the cooler.
