Hey i live in the monmouth county area. And i have been reading about people catching pickeral and crappies with live killies in the small lakes. Where are they fishing does any1 no of good lakes in monmouth county that i can fish in this time of the year.???

sorry i live in ringwood , north of you and we have some good lake fishing up here . I am into walleyes chrz

There are a couple in freehold. Topenmus (by Pond Rd) is one. Not sure the names or locales of the others. Fished them in when I was a youngin growin up in the area.

Deal Lake would be one of the best that is probably close to you. I have fished there many times and it holds great LM Bass as well as big Carp. If you have a boat it is great. You can put it in right next to the train trestle which BTW one of the best places to land big carp.
Lake Como is good or at least it use to be.
