Well, I am doing the deed. I am building a new FISH TALE. She is a 36'Calvin Beal Jr design downeast style hull. Her beam is 13' 9" and she is 13' at the transom. The cockpit will be 169sq ft, the wheelhouse is approx. 12' wide and 8' deep. Plenty of seating for 6 plus myself. The cabin has bunk space to sleep 4 and a full stand up head, a galley area and hanging closet. She will be heated for those chilly fall days Striper fishing and air conditioned for those days that are 90 and humidity at 80 not a breath of air to be had, except in the wheelhouse.
She is being built in Maine at JONESBORO CUSTOM FINISH SHOP. FISH TALE was backed into the shop the end of October and we are anticipating a splash date sometime in April.
The folling pictures are from Oct 26 up to Feb 11th. We still got a lot of work to do but she is coming along very well. April seems like a year away.
I am going up to Maine Feb 17th to 20th to check on things and get dirty. Maybe get a few more pics.

IrishAyes, That is going to be a great ride down. I figure it will be about 3 or 4 days depending on weather. The line for that first ride is getting long. I have got neighbors and relatives and friends all interested in coming with me. I'll need to pick a couple names out of a hat. Your name is in. TT^
THANKS CAPT BOB, I am looking forward to getting her done. Yes, I plan on putting up more pics so everybody can see the process and progress. THANKS ;D
