Does anyone have any input on the quality and functionality of Sea Fox boats? I'm not in the market to replace my boat, but a pretty good deal came up on a used Sea Fox 185 DC that peaked my interest. My use is for bay and river fishing. Just like housing, it's becoming a buyers market!

They have a VERY bad reputation. DO a search on the hulltruth.com to see what I mean.
I have no experience with one. Only going by what I have read.
I have seen no other boat with such a widespread bad rep.
I have seen others say they never had a problem with theirs, but I would certainly suggest going to the thehulttruth and checking it out.

Thanks! I did read quite a few bad reports on them, especially 2002 and earlier. The more info. the better!

Except don't ask any questions there, and don't even post if you don't own a Regulator or Contender. Oh, and definitely don't post if you have an E-tec, or a Panga, or haven't bought an 'anchor.'
Ugh. The site is very informative, but the crowd can get to you quickly.
